We often come across rot in sash boxes, frames and cills and there are various options to treat it.

Unless the damage is severe we can cut away the damage, treat the existing timber and epoxy resin repair.

We do not use standard wood fillers which shrink and crack over time and we only recommend using Repair Care resins, a two part flexible epoxy resin, which is conservation approved.

If the rot is more extensive we can cut it away and splice in new timbers to match original mouldings.

If the cills are beyond repair we can manufacture and fit new to match the original in a choice of timbers available to the customer.
